The judges have now picked their Best in World for the 2023 Science Competition.
More than 270 teams of students from around the world took part across phase 1 and 2 of the competition. Our expert panel of judges selected the winners for Best in World, Best in Region and Best on Country.
This year a Sustainability Award was given for the first time, supported by our Director for Climate Education, Christine Özden.
The Science Competition gives learners the chance to develop their passion for science and build practical skills that complement their academic studies. Students studying Cambridge IGCSEs and Cambridge O Levels work in small teams to conduct their own scientific investigation. They are asked to consider sustainability in their planning and investigate a topic of practical relevance to their school or community – helping students connect science to solving real-world problems.
Well done to all our winners!
