Special Notice: From 2007

Spanish syllabus

The Cambridge International Diploma in ICT has been withdrawn. After 31 December 2006, entries from new candidates will not be accepted for the Diploma in ICT. Candidates must complete all modules by 31 December 2009.

In an increasingly dynamic employment market, individuals must be able to work productively with ICT, to be able to transfer their skills across different contexts and software packages, and to continually keep their ICT skills up to date.

The Cambridge International Diplomas in ICT assess the ability to apply a range of software skills in realistic, practical work–related situations. Flexible in design, modules are designed to develop an ability to understand and apply the skills required to use ICT competently.

The qualifications are available at Foundation, Standard and Advanced Levels of the Cambridge Qualifications Framework, and are software–independent. Moreover, the Cambridge International Diploma in ICT provides an ideal opportunity to enhance practical ability developed in the Cambridge International Diploma in IT Skills.

Scheme of Assessment

Modules are assessed on–demand by means of a Cambridge–set assignment, comprising a number of practical tasks taken under controlled examination conditions at a registered Centre. The documentation and printouts produced in the assignment are externally marked by Cambridge.
