A practice-based qualification for continuing professional development, the Cambridge International Certificate for Teachers in Bilingual Education delivers an immediate improvement in teaching and learning in bilingual educational contexts. The Certificate encourages initiative and innovation, helping teachers and trainers develop their skills for teaching in a bilingual education environment, whilst having their work assessed to international standards. The Certificate is ideal for teachers with little or no experience of teaching through an additional language and who want to gain confidence and develop skills, understanding and knowledge in this area. Candidates can be full or part-time teachers or trainers in schools, colleges, and training organizations who work with learners from pre-school through to higher, adult and work-based education.
