The study of Cambridge Pre-U Art and Design encourages learners to use independent study skills, to connect to the world of art and design, and to develop the knowledge, ability, understanding and capacity to create a visual language. The syllabus is intended to stimulate personal response, to encompass a wide range of means of expression and to develop critical thinking in the advancement of the student as an artist or designer. The two-year linear programme allows learners time to develop greater maturity before producing final pieces.
