Learners following the Cambridge International AS Level Portuguese syllabus will study a series of examples from Portuguese literature. The aim is to better understand these texts, and the issues raised by the authors, and to develop the skills to communicate this understanding in a clear and focused way. Learners study a variety of texts, including novels, poems and plays, looking at the way the authors have conveyed their ideas, and discussing the wider issues that each text raises.
