Teaching and learning
When we revised our syllabuses, we consulted extensively with some of the world’s leading higher education institutes – including the University of Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. We wanted to check that the syllabuses continue to develop the skills universities require. They told us that what really helps learners succeed at university is a firm grasp of the subject’s key concepts:
Our revised syllabuses identify the underlying key concepts in Cambridge International AS and A Level subjects. These key concepts give learners the opportunity to study aspects of their subject in significant detail. They develop a depth of understanding and thinking skills that lay a strong foundation for university study.
The revised Cambridge International AS & A Level syllabuses are listed below.
New support resources for the redeveloped Cambridge International AS and A Level syllabuses are available now. Read more.
