Lost Certificates

Certifying Statements

If you have lost your certificate, or require a further copy of your results, CIE can issue you with a Certifying Statement. If you would like to receive a certifying statement, please read and complete the following application form, and return it with the appropriate fee, to the address on the second page of the form.

The form explains what you need to do before we can send a certifying statement either directly to you or to any public institution. A certifying statement shows all results obtained by the candidate at a single examination session, including those syllabuses where the candidate was absent or obtained ‘No Result’.

A Certifying Statement will be accepted by universities and other institutions as proof of your examination results. Correctly submitted applications will be dealt with within six weeks of receipt.
