• What is the latest news for Cambridge Candidates entered in the October / November exam session in Pakistan?
• The majority of exams went ahead as scheduled and the results of these exams will be released on 25 January 2010 as planned. Candidates who missed some papers in their exams due to the closure of an exam venue should read the Notice for Cambridge Candidates on the British Council website. This Notice is updated regularly and includes a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

• When will I receive my examination certificate?
• We send examination certificates directly to the centre where the examinations were taken. Please contact the Examinations Officer at your centre who will be able to advise you further.

• I have lost/damaged my examination certificate, how can I obtain a replacement?
• CIE cannot issue a replacement certificate for security reasons. However, we do issue a Certifying Statement of past examination results which will be accepted by Universities and other institutions as proof of examination results.
  
  For an explanation of what to do before we can send a certifying statement of your results directly to you, or to any public institution, please see the Certifying Statement Application Form (PDF, 159kb).
  
  All applications will be dealt with within a maximum of six weeks of receiving correctly completed applications.
  
  If you wish to make use of the service please complete the application form and return it to the address on the second page of the form as soon as possible. Please enclose the correct fee as stated on the form.

• My university/employer requires verification of my examination results, how do I apply for this?
• CIE will verify a candidate's results to third parties, i.e. University, Employer, but not directly to the candidate. Please complete and return the Certifying Statement Application Form (DOC, 159kb) with a photocopy of the certificate and the appropriate fee.
  
  Applicants’ results are checked against our permanent record. The verification supplied is based wholly on that record.

• I would like to order syllabuses/past papers/support materials for the subject I am studying. How do I do this?
• Syllabuses and a few sample papers are available to download from the qualifications section of our website or from our candidate website Cambridge Students.
  
  If you wish to order other published materials, including past examination papers and subject reports, these can be obtained from
  the Publications Department. You will need to complete a Publications order form and forward it to us with the appropriate fee.
  
  A complete copy of the Publications Price List and Order Form is available on our website.

• Where can I find out whether my local qualifications are recognised in the UK?
• The best place to look is the UK NARIC website NARIC evaluates a large number of overseas qualifications and issues comparability statements against British qualifications.

• Can you give me the details of a school in my area where I can take CIE examinations?
• Please contact the relevant British Council office or Ministry of Education as they will be able to provide you with a complete list of centres in your country, including non-CIE centres. In this way, you will be able to make an informed decision based upon the widest choice available that best matches your requirements.

• Where can I get a copy of the examination timetable?
• Examination timetables are issued direct to centres. The examinations officer at the centre where you intend to take your examinations will provide you with the details.

• The examinations officer at your centre will provide you with all details about the release of examination results and the arrangements for collecting Statements of Results and certificates.

• The examinations officer at the centre where you are taking your examinations will help you to enter for a CIE examination and provide you with details of the deadlines.
