400 schools have registered with CIE in the last year. This means that the number of CIE centres has grown by 13% in 2006-2007 to more than 3,800 worldwide. The total number of entries in Cambridge IGCSE, O Level and A Level examinations has topped 1.3 million, with students sitting exams across all regions of the world.
North America and Europe have seen the highest growth, with a 22% increase in the number of CIE centres including a number of new centres in the UK, Germany, Spain and the USA.
