Cambridge IGCSE teachers from Denmark visit Cambridge

22 August 2012

Teachers from SKALS, Denmark

SKALs International Boarding School in Denmark has a strong association with Cambridge International Examinations, which was strengthened during a recent visit to Cambridge.

Twenty-one teachers and two board members from SKALs International Boarding School visited Cambridge as part of their preparation for the next school year. Teachers and learners at SKALs face two exciting Cambridge-related challenges in the coming months – the launch of two new Cambridge IGCSE classes with around 40 students in each class, and a two-week trip to Cambridge in April 2013 when students will attend EC Cambridge Language Courses and do project work with Cambridge International School, a school that also offers Cambridge IGCSE.

The SKALs teachers stayed at Robinson College, University of Cambridge during their recent visit, where they held workshops. They also met our Director of Communications and Customer Relationships, Janet Morris, to learn more about Cambridge International Examinations and Cambridge IGCSE, and managed to fit in a quick tour of the University colleges – no trip to Cambridge would be complete without one.

"We had a great time in Cambridge, and we would like to thank Janet Morris and her colleague Mark Hurrell for taking the time to come and talk with us," said one of the teachers.
