In the latter months of 2008, you will notice some exciting new features on CIE's support websites.
We are developing the Teacher Support Website to make it easier for teachers to exchange ideas. The current email-based discussion lists will be replaced by Discussion Forums, where you will be able to see at a glance what is being discussed, what new posts have been made and be able easily to identify "hot" topics.
We are also adding a resource sharing tool to allow teachers to upload and swap their lesson plans, worksheets and other teaching tips and materials.
On the Cambridge Students' website we have increased the number of syllabuses which are supported and have made clearer links to the pages which list the institutions around the world that recognise CIE qualifications. We are also adding more examiner tips and model answers.
In late September, Examinations Officers who use CIE Direct will notice that it has a brand new design. As well as improving the look and feel of the site, this new structure is necessary to incorporate additional functionality which will be added over the coming months.
Details of all these initiatives are available on the support websites, and via the main CIE website.
