Bursaries available for new Master's degree in Advanced Subject Teaching

01 December 2011

We are pleased to announce two bursaries for Cambridge teachers who want to study a new Master’s degree in Advanced Subject Teaching at the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education.

We are offering the bursaries as part of our commitment to support teachers and encourage excellence in education. They are only available to teachers who teach Cambridge programmes and qualifications. One bursary is available for English teachers, and one bursary is available for History teachers.

The Master's degree in Advanced Subject Teaching has been designed to help English and History teachers develop their subject knowledge and enhance their professional and academic standing. Successful applicants will become members of a Cambridge college where they will be members of the wider graduate community as well as enjoying full access to the facilities of the University.

The part-time course will run from September 2012 to July 2014, and has been designed to be accessible to teachers both in the UK and worldwide.

Look out for more details about the bursaries, and how to apply, on our website soon.
