We are offering a wide range of self-study and tutor-led online training courses for Cambridge teachers, starting in December 2011 and January 2012. We deliver these courses via the internet in our virtual learning environment.
A key feature of our online training is the exchange of ideas and good practice between teachers across our global community. Here is some of the feedback we have had from delegates:
"I found that the assignments have made a positive impact on my teaching of Cambridge IGCSE English as they encouraged me to think about the methods that I use, especially the way I give feedback to students."
"I thoroughly enjoyed doing this course. I think that it is a great model for effective professional development. We can learn so much from one another but rarely have the time."
"I was pleasantly surprised at how user-friendly the whole process was and how it emulates a real classroom environment with dialogue and comments."
Which type course is right for you?
Our self-study introductory courses are for teachers who are new to Cambridge. These courses are not supported by a tutor and are available throughout the year.
Tutor-led intermediate and advanced courses are suitable for more experienced Cambridge teachers. Each course is supported by a tutor and runs for seven weeks, including one week’s introduction.
How to register
You need to register for the self-study courses by 14 November 2011. Registration for the tutor-led courses ends on 21 December 2011 – but if you book by 7 November you will save money on the registration fee.
