This online self-study course is designed to give you an introduction to Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics. It is aimed at teachers who have not yet started to deliver this course or who are new to teaching this subject.
Course content
This is a self study course so the pace of study is dictated by each participant and will depend on their level of engagement. It is expected to be around 15 hours of study over 6 weeks.
There are no deadlines for completing each task. The course is designed to be flexible in order to allow for the many demands on teachers' time. Participation can take place at times to suit the local situation. Participants have three months to complete the course.
Please note there is no course tutor. Teachers are encouraged to use the Mathematics Discussion forum on the Teacher Support Website to exchange ideas within a community of peers.
Course certification
Participants are expected to complete all tasks and a short exit test to be eligible for a certificate of completion.
