Cambridge International Examinations is holding professional development courses, for teachers using the Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks

Who are these courses for?
Courses are open to teachers using the new Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks. It is preferable, although not essential, that teachers have followed the online Introduction to Cambridge Primary training course, before attending the face-to-face workshops.

For information on the online Introduction to Cambridge Primary course, please visit the CIE Training hub: http://training.cie.org.uk/courses

This course will give teachers the opportunity to meet colleagues and share their best practice and discuss common issues

Course content
Content will vary depending on the subject, but typically includes:
• Overview of the curriculum content, structure and assessment
• Step-by-step guidance on implementation and planning
• Advice on delivery and teaching strategies
• Overview of the support materials, resources and services available from Cambridge
• Advice on feedback available for Cambridge Progression Tests and Cambridge Primary Checkpoint and how to use this

Course Registration
Attendance is £175 per delegate. Places on course booked before 1 January 2013 will be charged a lower rate of £160. Refreshments and lunch will be provided on both days.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for receipt of the online registration forms is 14 January 2013. Full venue and workshop details will be sent out to all registered teachers delegates prior to the training event.

Cambridge also offers a range of online professional development courses. Please visit www.cie.org.uk/events to find out more and to register for individual courses .
