Cambridge International Examinations are conducting Stage 2 Intermediate Face-to-Face professional development courses in the above location. Available to teachers at registered Cambridge schools.

Course Content
Content will vary for each syllabus, but typically includes:
• Review of teachers' assessment issues
• Overview of different teaching methods and strategies
• Teaching strategies applied to the syllabus
• Discussions on Formative and Summative assessment
• Revision strategies for candidates.
• ICT and curriculum resources
Interactive activities
• Creating schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Marking exercises
• (For science syllabuses, a practical laboratory session may also be included)
Who are these courses for?
Stage 2 courses are designed for teachers who have been teaching the Cambridge syllabus for at least one year. Stage 2 courses are not always suitable for teachers new to the Cambridge syllabus.
It is also preferable, although not essential, that teachers have followed a Stage 1 Introductory course.
Course Registration:
Attendance is £175 per delegate. Places on course booked before 15 August 2012 will be charged a loeer rate of £160. Refreshments and lunch will be provided on both days.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for receipt of the online registration forms is 27 August 2012. Full venue and workshop details will be sent out to all registered teachers delegates prior to the training event.
