Teachers who are well supported are able to offer the best education possible and develop successful students. We offer access to world-class support services, designed to help teachers deliver engaging, effective courses. We also help teachers develop as professionals.

We offer an extensive program of training events and services, including face-to-face workshops, online training and accreditation for coursework teachers.

We also support teachers with a wide range of textbooks and electronic resources, including past question papers, rubrics, examiners’ reports, lesson plans and online progression tests.

Online training and support

Three types of online training and support are available for schools:

introductory self-study subject-specific courses
tutored eLearning courses led by a Cambridge examiner, focusing on classroom practice
online 'Ask the Examiner' seminars, help teachers prepare their students for future examinations by raising awareness of the main assessment issues from the most recent examination session

Coursework training and resources

We offer accreditation for coursework teachers via distance learning, completed over a few days. Accreditation provides assurance that teachers understand how to manage and assess coursework. A wide range of textbooks written by experienced teachers are available on setting coursework and assessing students' work.

Subject-specific training workshops

Our schedule of training conferences provides a robust support package for the Cambridge program. Workshops cover subject content, recommended resources including textbooks, teaching methods and strategies, and creating lesson plans. Participants will also be able to discuss assessment questions and review past exam papers.

Face-to-face workshops typically include 20 - 30 teachers and will be held at accessible locations across the US.
