Teaching and learning
We offer a variety of syllabus-focused online training, as well as courses to develop skills in teaching and assessment. A key feature of our online courses is the exchange of ideas and good practice between teachers across our global learning community.
All of our online training can be accessed on our Professional Development Learning Community website.
We offer the following types of online course:
Introductory training for teachers who are new to a Cambridge syllabus. These courses are ‘self-study’ so are not supported by a tutor. As a result, the pace of study is dictated by each participant according to their own learning needs. These courses usually involve 15 hours of study over 6 weeks.
These courses are for teachers who have been teaching a Cambridge syllabus for at least a year. The courses are supported by an e-tutor. Each course runs for seven weeks, including a one-week introduction, followed by three assignments each lasting two-weeks.
The pre-recorded Examiner Feedback presentation will cover:
The Examiner Feedback presentation and discussion forum will be hosted on the teacher support site and can be accessed anywhere in the world, from your place of work to the comfort of your own home. Teachers will have the opportunity to submit any questions they may have about the exam series over a two week period and get feedback from a senior Cambridge examiner.
