Cris

Cristian E. Hansen
Head of Primary, Gregory's College, Buenos Aires, Argentina

“CIPP's attractiveness lies in the fact that CIE is an external benchmark to corroborate the level of English taught at our school. Families travelling abroad or moving within the country now have other CIPP schools they can choose from to continue their children's education.”

History

Cambridge International Examinations is part of the Cambridge Assessment Group, a not-for-profit organisation and a department of the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge Assessment was formed in 1858 (as the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate) by the University of Cambridge. It comprises three exam boards as well as the largest educational research capability of its kind:

Cambridge International Examinations, Cambridge ESOL, and OCR were formally established in 1998 when the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate created a new structure. Cambridge Assessment is the brand name of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate.
