The Karachi Grammar Junior Section (nursery stages up to class 6) provides a programme closely resembling the English National Curriculum at Key Stages 1 and 2, while the Middle Section programme (classes 7 - 9) is influenced by work done at Key Stage 3. These years set the broad foundations on which the Cambridge IGCSE, O, AS and A Level courses are taught in the College Section.
Karachi Grammar School has been entering students for Cambridge examinations since 1912 and for many years in the latter part of the last century coordinated the administration of these exams for local schools as well as for its own students. Class 10 and 11 students are prepared for eight O Level and two IGCSE exams, after which students progress to take four AS/A Level courses as well as the AS Level General Studies exam.
The School is very proud of its academic record and the considerable successes of its students, many of whom take up places at top universities around the world.
