Meet the requirements

Registering with CIE

CIE asks that all schools and education providers who wish to register as Cambridge International Centres meet certain requirements.

To check that these requirements are met, CIE organises an inspection of each prospective Centre. The nature of the inspection varies, depending on the qualifications the Centre wishes to offer. Full details of requirements, procedures and regulations for the conduct of CIE assessments are available to prospective Centres.

UK schools who have already met requirements of any UK examinations board (and are subject to OFSTED, JCQ or ISI inspections) do not need CIE inspections. Please quote your National Centre Number on application.
