VIDEO: An introduction to teaching and learning with Cambridge.
Cambridge International Examinations prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. We are part of Cambridge Assessment, a department of the University of Cambridge.
Our international qualifications are recognised by the world’s best universities and employers, giving students a wide range of options in their education and career. As a not-for-profit organisation, we devote our resources to delivering high-quality educational programmes that can unlock learners' potential.
In England we are recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), the government regulator of examinations, to provide regulated qualifications. (We are also recognised in Wales by Qualifications Wales and in Northern Ireland by CCEA.) This means we, and our regulated assessments and qualifications, are monitored and meet appropriate standards – whether they are taken in the UK or anywhere else in the world. We work closely with the UK regulators to maintain our recognised status and certify every year that we satisfy their requirements.
